Recognition of ecocide
GHW seeks to contribute to the international movement for recognition of ecocide as an international crime under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. This is an advocacy objective of the organization.

The mission includes protection and advocacy for ICCN eco-guards, other environmental protectors and victims’ families.
Amplify local realities
Documentation and testimonies can inform awareness and advocacy, subject to verification and respect for people’s safety and consent.
Build solidarity
Collaboration with relevant stakeholders can strengthen advocacy. Partnerships and practical support arrangements will be presented when confirmed.
